TCA enjoys a cooperative relationship with the North York YMCA that provides students with recreational, cultural and social experiences as well as academic credits in language, physical education and the performing arts.

The YMCA is opens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience. TCA students have access to the six-lane lane, twenty-five metre swimming pool, full-size gymnasium, two fully-equipped conditioning areas,the indoor walking/running track, squash courts, dance studio, and cyclefit studio.

Our aim is to provide our international students with opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership. By making connections, collaborating, and mirroring our region's diversity, we believe we can become the network that binds our international students and the local neighbourhood into one community.

Swimming Pool
Swim Lessons: Designed to accommodate all ages and levels of swimmers; Registration required for all lessons, except some adult; Private lessons are also available for a fee, subject to availability.

Training Court
Karate Lessons: Karate builds discipline, core stability, agility, balance, flexibility, endurance and power as a result of learning a moving art form. Through karate you can attain self-confidence, personal development, physical fitness, self-defense skills and traditional martial arts skills.

GYM
mYfitness: mYfitness provides the personal attention, flexibility and focus to get you on the road to a lifetime fitness habit. Working with our professional staff, we will help you develop an exercise program that suits your health and fitness needs. Included in membership.

Basketball Court
Recreational Sports: Included in your membership we offer many recreational sports, such as: basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, table tennis, squash and racquetball.

Running Track

Personal Training Sessions

Work with a certified fitness professional to help you meet your goals. Our Personal Trainers will help you stay motivated, ensure proper technique and help you build an exercise program that meets your individual needs. Fee applies.

Homework Club

For all students - a great time to get homework done with help available if you need it. Teen Night Meeting local Teens (every Saturday from 8-11pm) Open access to all teens (including non-members) - Come out and enjoy some sports, work out in the conditioning room, swim in the pool. Every week is an opportunity to hang out with friends, volunteer or join a discussion on teen issues.

Youth Leadership Development

Our YLD groups challenge teens through quality programming on leadership, self-government, and volunteer work. Participants work together to build confidence and make new friends. There is an application and interview process to join.
